I only watched because my wife was interested. Hopefully last night terrible display means we wont have to watch next year.

This was just about the worst event to be on TV. I am all for off color humor and offending people but the choice of Russell Brand was terrible...This is the guy that thought it would be funny to dress up like Osama Bin Laden on 9/12/01 and parade around town triumphantly.

I am also for funny cracks about the Pres. but if you are not from here calling him a retard should get you booed off stage...Over 50% of the people in this country approved of him both times he was elected. I guess free speech is why we allow foreigner here to bash us.

Lil' Wayne was terrible as a performer. Pink was good....The awards are pointless because MTV doesn't show music videos anymore.

I was never much of an inside cat...I played video games for sure, but when it came time to do some real playing my time was spent outside. I remember games of manhunt until the wee hours of the morning (it seemed like the wee hours but it was more like midnght).

Or summer spent swimming, camping, fishing, exploring, or any other thing you could do outside...Even though I was chubby I ran my ass off and kept on playing. After college when Melissa and I were dating I got a bit more sedentary. Not that I didn't move or workout, but Melissa was more of an in door cat and so I became too.

This weekend I got an opprotunity to get outside again and I took it. Welcome to the first annual Tap the Universe Celebration Report.

The trip got underway a little later then I had anticipated. Everyone worked and then had to get to the house, but once we were all there, the car loaded the straight up tapping of the universe commenced.

The first night we drove in the rain to Argyle, NY and spent the night in a cabin. Then up early for the drive out to Buck Pond Campground. It is North West of Saranac. We set up camp made sure we had ice, and firewood and then set out on our journey to reconnect to nature. From the back of our site was a trail through the pine forest to a lake. Pete (my cousin) has the picture of the alcove we were in. It was stunning! Mountains in the back ground, an island in the middle of the lake and the sounds, and silences of nature.

I must have swam for at least an hour just hanging out in the silence. Joe (friend) caught a fish. I showed him how to clean and cut the fish, and for reason only known to him he wanted to eat the heart and liver....He said "it has the most nutrients". I promised the chicken parm, and the steaks I brought to cook on the fire would be all he needed but he was compeled.

Sleeping out by the fire the sky was clear, and you could hear the coyotes or wolves howling in the distance...Awesome.

The next day after I was hoping for an early start we went for a hike. Pete and I through some conditioning for the UA and just being single and active on the weekends were the only ones really ready for the hike. However, Joe & Bill kicked ass, and for a big guy Shannon really did a great job. He hiked the first 4 miles to the WhiteFace leanto, and we continued on to the peak from there....Or should I say hell...

There was a lot of vertical to overcome along with lots of wet rocks. We made it with only a little bit of complaining from me...I complained that I was too fat for this, and that we were way late in the woods and we would get stuck there in the dark.

It was 4PM or a later when we left the peak and set back into the woods. Joe and Billy(cousin) were able to run basicaly out of there. Leaving me and Pete to stroll, converse, take pictures, and argue our way out. We didnt have a light and had really run low on water. We found some guy that was staying at the leanto he said we could drink the water from the river....At that point the 29 years of outdoor knowledge went out the window and on the advice of a perfect stranger we drank our weight in water.

Pete and I didnt get out of the woods until after 9PM and were using our hearing to hear that we were walking on the sandy trail out for the last 2 miles...We were also using gravity to show us our way to the ground, and where our ankles were with the constant tripping...

I am sure the humor of the trip is lost on this post because there really is no way to express the halarity of having 2 city kids hanging in the woods, creeped out by old movies, and animals scurrying right out side their tents...I cant wait to go again.

Well, I guess I am glad they are over, at least regular TV will be back...I think that the olympics really empasizes the diversity we have in this country. If you looked at Russia, or China, or Kenya all the athelets look the same. When you looked at the U.S. you see what a melting pot we have. All different colors, races and people kicking ass. I like it.

I have been looking for a picture to reiterate my point and show the face of America but haven't been able to find it...I am also pretty sure that I am not the only one that has come to this conclusion.

My neighbor died a few months back after a battle with cancer. We were pretty friendly. He was my parents age and when Melissa and I moved in they kinda took to us as their kids.

Two nights ago I had a dream that he had come through my back door and said "Hey, where have I been, I knew you guys are usually home so I figured you would be easy to find". I said "Hey Lou, what up how did you get here". He didnt know he just said that he had been lost and wanted to see his wife. He said he didnt know how he got from home to where ever he was. He also said his stomach was hurting.

I told him that he had been sick, and went to the hospital and died. He was pretty upset and asked me to say a prayer with him. We prayed that his pain would go away. My hands started to glow red and I put them on his stomach and he felt better. He asked me to take care of his wife, and make sure that she was okay. Said he loves her.

Then he said "Well John, it looks like I have to go", it was super bright outside the sliding glass door. I said "see you later man take care. Then I woke up...
Whatever power I had in the dream that made him feel better I wished I could take with me into the real world so I could heal others.

A pro. post- The short sale- Nightmare.

I thought I would take a moment and talk a little bit about a nightmare that we as Real Estate pros. are running into out there. As one of the more popular workout strategies in the banks bag of tricks is the time consuming short sale. Short does not referr to the time it takes to get one of these things done. I have taken part in a few of these and I have become quite adept at securing an offer on these properties submitting the short sale package, and closing. I have done two in the last 3 months as a matter of fact, and am just starting a new one.

For those of you who don’t know short sale is a procedure where the bank allows a seller to sell for less then they owe, Typically you also try to get their expenses covered too,. For instance a seller owes 100,000.00 but market conditions dictate that the most they could get for their home is 90K. You would present that offer less your commission, taxes, and attorneys fees to the bank. You also have to submit a hardship letter stating why the seller is having a hard time paying their bills as well as a wealth of financial info.

This is where it gets difficult because each lender has different and specific requirement and it is usually at least 25 pages of material. Once that is complete you fax it to the bank they have 60 days in which to approve the offer, and it seems to take at least the full 60. At which point you can then sign contracts. The trick is they usually give approval for 2 weeks at a time. You then have to request extensions until the actual closing date. Which we know in NY can be 45-60 days away from the contract date.

If it goes through your seller client will be happy that this burden has been removed from their shoulders (check with your accountant because I think there is a special tax break on the forgiven portion of the debt). Your buyer client might have gotten a great deal on a home. You as the Realtor might be the only one who gets beat.

How you get paid:
The commissions are pre-approved by the bank however if there is not enough money to pay you because of fees or fines the attorneys at the closing will start to look for money to pay the rest of the bills. Title insurance, title closer, agents, attorney and so on. Beware that the first pocket they dip into will be yours because you are getting the largest pay out at the table. We all know how much work we do to get them there and it stings even worse when you have spent hours dealing with a faceless bank that has employees all around the world.

You should have a plan of action to protect yourself already worked out with your client. Will they cover the shortage, will you and the other agent split the difference, will you split the shortage proportionally or equally around the table.
You should also notate your listing that the commission, and sale price are subject to 3rd party approval.

No seriously I know we haven't spoken in awhile but it is not because I dont love you that I haven't written. I could go through a list of excuses but I guess none of them are that good. I am working alot. I am married now, and have a family, I commute 2 hours a day, the olympics are on....Okay that last one doesn't really count since they only started a little over a week ago.

I know, that in the past I have promised you more frequent updates, I even added mobile access to the blog so that I could fill you in from the road and I let you down. Although some of the pictures I have sent you have been awesome. For all of these things I apologize, and I hope that you forgive me. I know you heard around town that I have been playing around with facebook and updating daily there...But to be honest that is because I have someone to talk to there...Where people engage me, and where my friends already hang out. Anyway I didn't want to upset you I just wanted to let you konw whats up.

In the past you have been just for fun and I have kept you seperate from my others. But it would seem that my professional life, and my personal life are coming closer and closer together and it might be time that we all exsist as one...Now I am not suggesting that our all night benders and personal thoughts are right for every audience but my professional musings could often be of use to you. You might need to know what a short sale is or what the ID theft coverage on your insurance policy actually covers.

I am sure that you also want to see pics. of my two little kids, and how awesome they are. You might even want to laugh at me. I have plenty of ridiculos things that happen and you deserve to know about those as well. So here I am back at it. Stay tuned for a professional post a bit later from another blog that I have and maybe some more fun stuff.

Man what a great weekend for concert. My mother-in-law watched the babies so it was the perfect weekend of a road trip..We didnt stay in Saratoga which is about 2 hours from home...So we had some pretty late nights crusing home on the Thruway.

Saturdays show we went up early and hit up a wharehouse party called Balls Fest. $20- all you could eat and drink. They ran out of beer but that was okay. The show are as always awesome. It was nice to hear the Lie in Our Grave Reprise. Last year Trey fucked it up so I was glad we finally heard it.

Snice JB updated us from a year ago on his pepper (weed) farm I thought I would too. You are seeing a lot more pictures on my blog then posts anymore. I guess that is because everything I want to say I am saying in to the forums. There is more discussion there, and that is really what I am in too. Not just posting my thoughts to post my thoughts. I like the feedback.

What I do really like about blogger is that it allows me to link my mobile up and post the pictures right from the phone...I think that is a pretty cool little feature. I will put a link to my traning log on blogger and maybe push some traffic to LifesGym.come instead of away to blogger.

It is of course I am not really guessing...

You eithe become one of those people who have something to say about everything that happens, either celebs, politics, or your own life. Or your blog goes a few days maybe weeks between post. Even my proffessional blog (where I make sure to spell everything correctly) has down time and there is always some BS to put out there about "the market", or what my own personal feelings are, on the merits of someone who does what I do real estate or insurance.

So as far as content goes here is an update on the personal.

Did some juggling and some paperwork in an effort to secure benefits for my family. The wife and I are now partners and are getting benifts that way. ( I should put exactly what I did on the proffessional blog). Baby is coverd under healthy NY and we are saving a ton of money.

Did I mention that we are having another boy. That is right all your macho construction workers, and cops, who want only boys...As your wife gives birth to your 3 or 4th girl, just know that the collegiate singer/ desk jockey is make boys.

I finally passed Calculus...I know I promised to tell you the story: I technically graduated college...I walked but had an incomplete in one class...I actually figured out a way to take all my upper level classes without this pre-req. Turns out they caught that at graduation and held my diploma... Ten years after I started college I finished that class. Not that it held me back in any way, because technicaly I did graduate so I just rocked on with that...My diploma will have August '07 on it...I think I will need a new T-Shirt.

Any one who wants to send me graduation gifts email me and I will send you my address. :)

I ran into my guidance counseler from Highschool at a buddies party the other day...Lets say if I wasn't a father, and my son wasn't there this guy might have gotten knocked on his ass. I didn't like what he had to say and neither did his wife...It wasn't bad but just stupid and the whole he was digging wasn't getting any better the more he was talking...But I shook his hand, and said "Well, thanks, and I am positive that never happened" and just went home.

I am beat! I was up late taking care of some Calculus stuff...Man that shit is terrible. It is funny too, because the other students in the class seem to think they are going to use the course later on in school...

BackStory- 1997-2001 I went to College took classes to get a BS in Management. I did well in all my upper level courses, and actually enjoyed the classes. Funny thing was is I never passed one of my m pre-reqs. I "managed" to exploit a loophole in the computer system that would let me register for all the upper level stuff with out taking the pre-reqs. I did well in them too, B's and A's. Even in the more math or at least function driven courses like Macro/ Micro Eco, and Stats.

So when it came time for graduation in May of 2001,and I met with my adviser to go over my course work, she said "Wow John, you never took or shall I say passed Calc, howd you do so well". I responded with the course is useless, that the math teachers don't teach you a course that applys to everyday life, use or business, and that I managed to find a way around it, and I am afterall a Management Student.

She laughed and said "well you can walk at graduation, but they will hold you diploma, and transcripts until you pass". I responded great! I complete all the other work, wrote a paper for my senior lecture proved the class was worthless, and I still have to take it. To which she replied "Yep".

So here I am years later sitting up late at night taking Calc. through my college online. Since I "Graduated", the course has come along way, at least it's online incarnation. There is a cool way to do the home work assignments that should be an integral part of the course for students on campus. I am trying to enjoy the class, looking at it as some sort of puzzle that I need to figure out.

The whole thing is short too, instead of being a full semester it is jammed packed into 5 weeks so I will be done with in on 8/10/07. Can't wait. Hopefully I will do well. Since I am taking it through my college it will even fix the F and the incomplete I have in it already...Boosting my GPA.

Life that is...I was looking so forward to the summer. Money, fun, sun and swimming. All things that I was looking forward too.

I was going to complain about all the stuff that is slowing me down so far this summer but what for? My son, father, father-in-law, and myself are in relatively good shape. I have some money coming in soon, with more on the way. My wife is healthy and her pregnancy is going great, and my Condo complex finally put down some grass seed next to my home. Not too shabby.

So all in all I guess things are ok.

I am going to try to make the time to post here often again because I like too. I am also going to try to include more pictures of the cool things I see and or do throughout the day. I am going to grab a moblie blogger account and start sending images from my phone to the site. I think that will be fun. So stay tuned for those. I guess that is all for today.

Yeah that right...Blah. Just how it is right now... Although I should be more excited as I have a lot going on. Baby on the way, work is busy (still taking forever to get paid, but busy none the less).

Even though I am busy with work I though I would throw my resume out there and see whats, what...Turns out people want to hire me...Yep...I have some talents that they like. Not too bad. My job currently has a lot of perks, but I also have to see what else is out there, and if their perks are better.

I just havent felt much like sharing here lately. Sorry about that for all the voyeurs that like to read what I am doing. I have been working real heard the last few weeks trying to make ends meet and trying to decide what I want to do for the rest of my life. I am having some fun with my work now, but not as much as I would like to, nor are all the perks of being self employed all they are cracked up to be.

Especially when you have the burden of paying all of the expenses including 1000.00 a month for your own health insurance. Gas price are at 3.25 a gallon, and I know they are supposed to come down, but for a guy that drives around the 41 cents the government gives you at tax time is bullshit. So I got the resume out there and I am getting a bunch of phone calls for the same line of work, which if I am not doing it with my father, and on my own I am not doing it at all.

I went to the Dr. for the first time in about 10 years for something other then a sinus infection last week. My blood pressure was through the roof. It is always a bit high but on that day it was way too high 175/110. They asked me why it was so high I said "yesterday I ate some beef jerky, and had a ton of tea, and I have been sitting in this room for an hour worried that at any moment someone is going to come in here and shove a finger up my ass"... The Dr. got a good laugh out of tha tans said I dont have to worry about that for a while.

I admitted that my work outs have been half assed, or shitty and that I havent been running or lifting like I would want to, plus I have a ton on my mind...I asked him to just put me on medicine so I dont have a stroke and I will get back to doing what I need to, to take care of myself.

He put me on some Beta blockers, and since I started them I feel much better. I thought it was my allergies that were making me feel like shit but it was my blood pressure. I have been checking it and it is in the 135/80 range. The best part is I feel so much better.

Working out though has been really whacked out. I can run forever cardio vascular wise, I dont get out of breath but my legs are getting fatigued which is something I am not used to during 30 mins of cardio.

I got in a pretty solid 45 mins last night but the legs were burnt after wards. 10 mins of running and then the rest on the eliptical machine. Felt good and headed back tonight for some lifting and cardio.

The forums: This blog orginally came about as an extension of my online self through a site called fit to be men. It was a fitness site primarliy that eventually became a neighborhood meeting place.

Now it seems as if it has become the neighborhood grave yard.

There isn't a lot of activity from its members and there is not a lot of new memberships, legit anyway, being driven to the site.

I am not sure if that is the evolution of a site, or the neglect of the owner. But it is the case. I would like to see the site rise from the ashes and be the place it was, with the people the way they were.

I am also not sure if it is that people have lost their way of found a new one. I do miss what it once was though.

I have been visiting old stomping grounds lately looking for my old self.  The self that wasn't so busy, that could spend 2 or 3 hours in the gym, and not worry  if I was losing money but  hanging out there...Turns out he is no longer around...Hasn't been since 12.6.05.  

There is a new guy here, one that has to think about finances, and one that has to spend time on time management.  The time management idea is kinda of dumb because you cant really manage time...What I really am working on is personal management.  The time is blocked in my calendar and so far I am sticking to all the things I put in there...Havent skipped a one.

Gym, Work, Its all getting done.

Friday Snow Snow Storm
I drive into work to take care of something that was really un-important. Drive the hour in to the office. Sit down 2 mins later I am down kill about an hour clearing my desk. It is around 11am when the snow gets heavy. Start car and drive about 20 miles an hour home. I get to about 10 miles from my house-

Driving slow down the hill in the right lane, car is in low gear crawling home.
I look out my window to see a Dodge Stratus going past me sideway in the middle lane. I think to myself "I wonder where he is going". Next thing I know he is crashing into me and sending me into the woods. I ran over a bunch of of bushes and hit a tree. I am fine, although my tail bone feels bruised.

The guy was from Germany and didn't have any of his rental car paperwork with him, or an international license or a permit to drive here. I saved him from getting arrested. I went through Hertz to get a rental car because thats where his car was from. :) Its not bad and I should be getting a check any day now.

Hmm...I am not sure what else there is to say. I have been feeling super tired lately and I am not really sure what that is about. Maybe it is from waking up so early to go to the gym. I havent lost a lot of weight either but I am guessing that is because I am half assing the diet thing...I don't know, just doesn't seem as important to me as everything else in my life...Although I am hitting the gym 5 days a week...Ahh, I think that is it for now. How are you doing?

I am taking an internet lead capture class today. It is all about the power of the web and website to build the business instead of just being a liability. My professional website is a pretty decent template site, with some nice customization. Here is the funny thing about Real Estate. Everywhere I go I am the youngest person in the room by at least 15 years.

Which means I grew up with computers. I am the first of the internet generation. Now, while I am not as good as some, I am light years ahead of most. Well most that haven't spent tons of money on a special custom site. I am working on a professional blog don't worry there will be a spell check and I will have my wife edit the page. Now I just need to be able to intergrate that into the templates. They have some restrictions on what I can embed. Stay tuned maybe I will put a link here to my page.

Hi how are you,

I have been very busy and I am hoping that they will turn themseleves into a few dollars. I guess I dont really have much to say.

The baby is doing great he is getting really big. We have a vaca coming up in a few weeks. If the grandparents weren't going we wouldn't be, but we will tag along and stay in their time share and have some fun. That is if my wife will let me. I dont usually mention her too much here, or at least not if she is annoying me or anything along those lines. But today I figure I will give it a shot, since I know she reads this. Maybe it will make the conversation easier in the day, although I am not sure if there is any reason to even discuss because whatever she says goes as far as I can tell.

While on Vaca, since the grandparents will be there, and the aunt, if we want to go out to dinner then they can put the baby to bed so we can go and be adults, and have some fun. We (either her, mostly her, or me have put him to bed every night for the last 15 months) we love it, but while we are away, to state so firmly that you will be putting him to bed every night at 7pm seems silly. How about lets see if there is any thing going on that we want to do, and if there is, and the grandparents aren't going out, lets let them put him to bed. 5 other couples our ages that we are friends with will be there. So let utilize the grandparents if we can, or need too or want too.

It will be tough but you can do it.

Updating and Maintaining

Well I am working on the new computer tonight. It runs Windows XP Media Center, plus a whole host of other cool toshiba software products like summit...I was trying that out the other day. Pretty cool stuff allows me to move files easy enough between my fathers computer and mine, which is what we are always doing, through email which, when the files are large are a pain in the ass. So I trying to learn all the features and the the functionality that I have.

I also downloaded a bunch of plugins and addons for FireFox. This one is called performancing, it is a blog plug I guess it makes it easier to post, or so I dont have to sign in.

I also sent away for my Windows Vista Home Premium Edition free updgrade. I bought the laptop about a week before the new software dropped so Toshiba provides me with the upgrades. Any one using it, have opinions for or against at this point?

The gym is going well, I am going to finish the EDT program this week and go into the month of March running...I think I am going to change to heavy cardio with light weights, and then back to heavy weights, and lighter cardio...If that makes sense.

Any thoughts? Let me know I would like to discuss what you think.

Trying to get things to line up when copying from the excel sucks....If you are reading across the top of the screen the first number is the weight, followed by the first reps, then it is the addition of the reps, and the total of the weight moved. Reps x weight= total lbs moved.

The number at the end is how many more I need during next workout to reach my PR Zone so I can move up in weight.

Well I am certainly not as good at this workout as I used to be. Which is good. It is funny to get strong again. I like trying to beat the previous workout and the heart rate goes through the roof. You cant beat it for a sweat factory. This was this mornings workout, so add another 15 mins of HIIT. For my double workout point today. Tomorrow I am going for another single. I am trying to make this the last and awesome.

I hope I can beat it out next Monday. It will be very fun to try and one hell of a workout. let me know what you think.

Alarm goes off 5:01- The girl I have been working out with says she will be a little early.
I figure I have at least 9 mins of snooze time left.

Hit the snooze button: 5:19- Oh crap I think I missed her let me get dressed and run down stairs, try to stay quite so I don’t wake anyone.

5:30Hmm- I guess I missed her but she would have txted me or something, I text her.
Hey, guess your not going to the gym this morning. I hope you are feeling to sore maybe I will see you later.

5:40 Ok, I guess you really aren’t going in, I am going back to bed.

I go and lay on my couch figuring I will sleep for another 30 mins or so and then get up and take a shower. When my txt message light comes on.

“What are you talking about, is everything alright, are you going to the gym 1:55am”.

I look at the clock it is in fact 1:55am….I am a fucking idiot and was thinking I was late and reading my clock backwards as I was half asleep.

Back to bed- Laughed my ass off for about an hour, woke up at the real 5:00am and went to the gym for some EDT and HIIT…More on the workouts later.

My cat is so fucking annoying...She is really nice, loving, and affectionate, but too much so. She wants to constantly be around people, if you are sitting in my living room she wants to be in in your lap, and she likes to sleep in the bed with us. Although we put an end to that about a year ago...She weighs 18-19lbs so there is no room for her big ass in our bed.

The problem now is that we put her in the basement at night. She loves it down there, it is nice, finished couch her litter box the whole deal, but a soon as the stupi bitch heres me walking around on the first floor she comes to the door, and starts scratching...A noise that cuts right to my soul. She is also fucking up my furniture, furniture that I spent a lot of money on. When we got the pig she was a stray and was already 1.5 or 2 years old and couldnt be declawed.

The dumb asshole has a scrathing box, post, tree, but she like to dig into the side of the couch...I am so dumb that I keep foregetting to but the sticking paws tape to put on the couch. Although when it is on there I hate the way it looks.

Fat piggy also is on a restricted calorie diet (arent we all) so she only gets fed a half cup of food a day so she fucking meows like crazy when ever we walk past the pantry were her food is kept. It is so fucking grating. It is a love hate relationship at the end of the day when the fat cunt sits on my lap it is nice, but all the other shit she does thoughout the day makes me want to put her in the dryer...

I am trying out firefox, and they seem to have some pretty cool plugins...They are a something I have not used before. I guess I have but never ones that amek using the net better, or easier or whatever it is that this is supposed to do.

I guess if I dont have to sign in to the service, it saves me time, so lets see how this goes. I have to work on the photo thing I guess I need an FTP service thing...

3 days this week got in great workouts. I am going to take some pictures so I can comparing them to the before after, redo, and after...Although I am uncomfortable with posting pics of myself shirtless on the net.

I am pretty sure that even if I was super slim, and trim, and fancy I wouldn't be down with it.

Anyway, Spin class on Monday, Weights, and HIIT on Tuesday, Steady State cardio on Wednesday, and all before 7am.

I am beat now though, and need to stop watching tv, until midnight. Then I think it will be a bit easier to do.

My workout partner is a chick...Yeah thats right, my wifes cousin's, wife. She need to lose, I need to lose, and they live a mile from my house.
So that is a little bit weired for me to be honest, I have never really worked out with a girl before. Well I worked out with my wife, so I guess I have. Her big thing is she doesn't want to bulk up so she is nervous about doing weight routines, she said she builds muscle super fast.

I am not sure that is the case...I think she probably just feels stronger quickly, I tried explaining that weights, and cardio is the way, and that I wont have her doing an olympic strength gaining program...We will see how that goes.

I guess you could call the guy my Real Estate Mentor, either way his resume is impressive. Some background:

A few months ago I needed to make a switch in the Real Estate game so I could make sure I was able to provide for my family. I went to a few different agency to speak to the people who do recruiting, I also went to check out a few books and read about the profession I was going to give a run at.

The book I went to buy was pretty damn good and when I when to meet with the guy who was recruiting for KW, his name was mentioned in the forward as teaching the author a lot about RE...

So I went with him took his classes, read his info, and listened to his cd programs. Part of his MO is going from E to P, or from Entreprnuial, to purposeful. Meaning instead of just being an entreprenuer, and take risks and chances, and dreaming big, and being a shaker, it means working the details. Being purposeful in my actions to achieve a result. Making the actual process or job the actual goal, and the end result a bonus.

Like, lead generating for 2 hours, and making two appointment during that time period. Instead of saying I need to make an appointment. So that is what I am trying to do... With the gym it becomes a matter of instead of I want to lose 30lbs, to I want to make it to the gym 3x a week...

If I lose the 30lbs that is just another positive in my long list of positive results, I achieve from going to the gym 3xs..

So I think I am already using the point system that TT has, and it seems to be working for me, although I need to commit to as many aspects of being healthy as I can. I guess thats the tough part.

In other news: The Mrs. is physically ok, but very sad, but hanging in there.

Below is my response.

It is easy to read the statistics and know that 25% of all pergnancy end in miscarriage and know that of course lots of people and lots of pregnancies end this way. But for whatever reason it is comforting to know that other people I know have been throught the same thing. I had put a post as to exactly how it happened for us in my blog but it got eaten. I saw the baby didnt have a heart beat as soon as they did the ultrasound it was painful and scary...I know what to look for when looking on those thing from when she was pregnant with Jack. It was terrible.

The hardest part for me was seeing the screen with no heart beat before my wife. She was looking at me and asking me what was going on, and where the heartbeat way. Opening the front door yesterday after we got home forom the hospital was equally as hard.

I was getting excited about seeing two babies driving my wife nuts when I came home from work. Baby food all over the place, and two kids singing and making noise with peas, and chicken nuggests all over the floor. It will happen it was just sad to see that it wasnt going to happen when I thought it was.....I havent cried at all, I kinda believe that whatever geneticily was wrong that the baby is better off never making it here, then making it here with all its organs on the outside of its body or whatever was wrong. We would have loved it either way but it would have been harder for the baby then I would want it to be.

I dont think they will be doing any cytology test on it because it is the first miscarriage, and she has already had a succcessful pregnancy...Although I am not sure...

Its weird because with the last pregnancy her hormone levels were off and at first they suggested that she wouldnt carry, now this time they were perfect (when they tested at the begining), and this is the results.

Life.

The First 100 Hours

I took off a week of work. How do you like that? I haven’t taken any time off since July, and even then the cell phone wasn’t that far away…Being in sales the last week of the year, while all the support folks (read that as underwriters and processors) are off on vacation the sales force is trying to meet year end goals and cram stuff in before the calendar switches over. It was hell but I got it done.

So I deservingly took the first week of the New Year off. No new resolutions, take care of my family, and myself, and trying and meet some financial goals. My insurance goals run from Jan1-Dec31, and the RE runs from March or April, not sure when I made my switch. I have already met the goals I set out for last April or March and now I want to pulverize them, and I am already setting new ones.

So how did I spend my first week of the New Year.

I had the last bit of alcohol I am going to drink for a while unless someone offers me a fabulous glass of wine.

I turned 28.
I installed a closet system in my reach in closet.
I built a header and a jamb so that the closet could have doors.
I installed the doors.
I got to use my new tools.
I cleaned my house.
I had a large closing. (not on the closet doors, but on RE)
I bought new linens for our room. (The wife of course picked this out, but I will take it as an accomplishment)
I bought a vacuum cleaner that actually cleans stuff.
I went skiing for an entire day.
I learned how to use my navigation system.
I bought some nice clothes that don’t fit yet.
I enjoyed 3 workouts last week, but need to step it up and wake up earlier.
I went to my friends grand opening of his restarunt. It was fancy.
I moved furniture.
I took down my Christmas tree. I will drag it down the street tonight
I realized I need to buy a flat panel tv for my room.
I don’t think I need HD- ED will be fine.
I paid off 2 credit cards, 1 business, 1 personal, and still have another business one to go.
I have a closing coming up at the end of this month, or in Feb.
I enjoyed some time with my wife.
I enjoy vacuuming. I always have.
I realized I hate EMO rock.
I am seriously considering training to run a marathon, or at least a half.
I have been giving a lot of thought about going from “E to P” (More on this throughout the year)
I realized that I hate Billy Bush, he is the worst, why couldn’t they get Ryan Seacrest to host the new Grease show so that I may enjoy it.

I must be getting old.

Well I guess we will start to see wrap blog all over the place, all about the best worst of everything around.

So it is not time for me to do that yet, but I do have some things that dont make sense to me.

1. What the hell is up with Gwen Steffani- is she a hip-hop cross over artist, or a punk rocker?
2. I dont get Jack Black. Seriously, I dont get him at all, and I am tiered of seeing him as a rock'n roll or music fan.
3. I dont understnad tenacious D at all...I mean WTF are they a joke band, or a real band making jokes?
4. Do you think the guy with metal legs climbing Mt. Everest ever jokes that he can't feel his legs?
5. What's up with emo rock...
6. If its not emo rock why is the guy whining all the time.

Cue wavy lines...I was sitting on the couch and the Mrs. comes into the room and says, hey do you want to eat some bacon...It was 8:30PM, so I said, hell yeah, I never say no to bacon...So she cooks up some bacon, and then says "Hey do you want some Ice Cream...I said no, none for me, so she goes out and gets some icecream. Then she says damn that still is not what I am looking for, so she sat down and ate a 1/4 lb of feta cheese...

She was also very angry during the week, much angrier then her normal level of angryness, so I should have known something was up.

My parents were over at the end of that week (last week). Meilssa says she is going out to get some femmine stuff and away she goes. She comes home a few minutes later and calls me upstairs. My parents are playing with my son, and the wife and I are upstairs.

A few days later off to the Dr.'s to confirm, which they did. Her hormones levels are right on this time with no need to supplement and she is feeling pregnant. We broke the news last night to our friends and the rest of the family...So here we go again.

I cant remember but I guess that doesn't matter that much...Wow, work has been wacky. Dead aside from trying to get things in through the underwriters...They are a thick group...Thick, like some type of membrane...

They really drive me nuts. For all the technology we employ throughout the day what it all comes down to is the piece of paper you sign when you first start up that makes all the difference, and truth be told a faxed copy will not always suffice. Then with my other business I am dealing with a lot of people who are in a rush to hurry up and go nowhere. Maybe I will just take off until August 7, 2007, and then start back then.

Had a great work out yesterday, it took about 1/2 hour to compelte a nice little legs circuit.. my damn legs are killing me today...I had to climb on my desk to put up Christmas lights and that hurt to climb down.

I have to setup a few appointments for this weekend but that is proving difficult...Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well with the latest news I am losing it today...I was able to keep it together and even enjoy a smile on the way in, but the way that business seems to be going right now I am losing it...Not that the business aspect makes a bit of difference, because it will happen anyway...Exciting, and scary....

I did a ton of laundry last night but I couldn't sleep at all when I was done...I think I slept from 2-5 while my wife was awake playing video games on my palm pilot...Ha!... Today she has music class with Jack. I can't wait to see them today.

I am. I think this was my first official Sunday off since April. I ddint answer the phone, and I didn't show any houses. So it could be a financial loss, but in all honesty I just couldn't do it this week...Well, this entire weekend...Yesterday was just me and my son...It was pretty damn great...

Well he bit me pretty hard...I have a bruise from whre the little moster got me but that was ok because we were wrestling, or he was hungry...Who knows?

It was the first day since he was born that it was just him and I all day. Today after arguing with my wifeI cleaned and hung out on the couch..

I figured out the motivation thing today...Now it is just a matter of putting it back in action...Watch and see.

The little guy doesn't feel like going to sleep tonight. He has been up for about the last hour or so crying off and on. After letting him "cry it out" for a while, I go and pick him up as soon as I do he rubs his face on my shoulder, puts his face against my neck and falls asleep. We do this for the next hour or so... After about 15 mins of crying I pick him up snuggle him up, and he whispers dada in his sleep...

Awesome- I know it was just a sound but it was cool.

Holding a sleeping baby is a really great thing.

Being with my boy makes everything worth it.

10mins to 7am On Wednesday...My Cell phone hasnt started ringing yet, but it will soon...It usually starts around 7:30. I have to shut it off around 8 PM now if I dont ant to talk to anyone. Not that anyone is calling to spend money, they are just calling to ask questions, and who knows when they will spend anything.

Work has been hell, the insurance side of things is busy in a good way, still need to get our life numbers up but we are working on that. P&C is going well...It helps when you have one of the best products going. RE- has been a nightmare the last few weeks, but there has also been some good stuff as well and I have to stay focused on that.

Usually in life I dont let stuff rattle me or take up too much of my brain but I am having bit of trouble getting these people out of my head. Yesterday I told dawg that I am not one of those guys who goes to the gym and the stress disappears.

However yesterday with a little DMB, rolling stones, and some Dr. Dre, plus the searing pain of muscle fatigue I was able to grant myself a little respite from the on slaught of telephone calls. Lifting weights feels so good...When I focused entirely on fitness and didnt really give a shit about work, I had my best numbers on both fronts....I wonder what that was about...or was it a conincidence.

This weekend is pumpkin picking. For some reason my MIL likes to have the whole family go, so we will drive too far, and spend too much, but she likes it and she is good to us plus it is a day I can spend outside with my boy. We took him to a pumpkin patch a few weeks ago with my wifes mommy group...Pretty cute stuff I will post a picture.

I was driving across the bridge the other day and thought about jumping off....No not in a suicidal way, but in a bungee jump way....Like one of those ones where you dunk your head under water for a few seconds before you bounce back up...Especially when the water is nice and cold...Sounds so refreshing.

Damn I am bored, stressed and just ready to be done with today. Yeah, yeah I know complaining but thats what this blog is all about for me as of late. i could talk about how awesome my wife and son are, but honestly that bit of happyness is just for me. Sorry. But I want to keep those smiles, and kisses to myself for awhile, although if you ask I would send you pictures of the little guy. Damn he is cute.

I have an appointment to show a piece of property that I have for sale this afternoon, and I would rather hit the gym, but if I time this right, I might be able to catch a spin class this evening, although I am not sure that my chode and ass are up for it today.

Lifting yesterday was awesome, my chest and triceps are sore and that is something I havent felt in awhile. I am glad I feel it now, and look forward to more soreness in my future. I will post my proposed workout a little later tonight, while I am vegging out in front of the TV. Hopefully I will make the gym, if not I will go twice tomrrow....Yeah I think I would like that better, once early to lift with Dawg, and then a few hours later right before I have to work for a spin class...This way I could work today, eat with my wife, play with my boy, and workout hardcore between work tomorrow while my wife will be out of town....Shit....That wont work exactly because the guy is coming to fix the furnance. I wonder how I will pay that guy.
