Content???

I am beat! I was up late taking care of some Calculus stuff...Man that shit is terrible. It is funny too, because the other students in the class seem to think they are going to use the course later on in school...

BackStory- 1997-2001 I went to College took classes to get a BS in Management. I did well in all my upper level courses, and actually enjoyed the classes. Funny thing was is I never passed one of my m pre-reqs. I "managed" to exploit a loophole in the computer system that would let me register for all the upper level stuff with out taking the pre-reqs. I did well in them too, B's and A's. Even in the more math or at least function driven courses like Macro/ Micro Eco, and Stats.

So when it came time for graduation in May of 2001,and I met with my adviser to go over my course work, she said "Wow John, you never took or shall I say passed Calc, howd you do so well". I responded with the course is useless, that the math teachers don't teach you a course that applys to everyday life, use or business, and that I managed to find a way around it, and I am afterall a Management Student.

She laughed and said "well you can walk at graduation, but they will hold you diploma, and transcripts until you pass". I responded great! I complete all the other work, wrote a paper for my senior lecture proved the class was worthless, and I still have to take it. To which she replied "Yep".

So here I am years later sitting up late at night taking Calc. through my college online. Since I "Graduated", the course has come along way, at least it's online incarnation. There is a cool way to do the home work assignments that should be an integral part of the course for students on campus. I am trying to enjoy the class, looking at it as some sort of puzzle that I need to figure out.

The whole thing is short too, instead of being a full semester it is jammed packed into 5 weeks so I will be done with in on 8/10/07. Can't wait. Hopefully I will do well. Since I am taking it through my college it will even fix the F and the incomplete I have in it already...Boosting my GPA.
